Here’s a little behind the scenes look at the design process here at One Way North.

Sometimes we hand draw the design on a piece of paper then scan it to the computer. Once the design is on the computer we trace over it in Illustrator and get all the essentials of the design in place. In some cases illustrator is enough for us to send the design to production. But if we feel like the design needs a little bit more work we then send it to Photoshop where, in most cases, the magic happens! That’s when we play around with more color variations and decide to add some effects to the design or to just keep it simple.

Anyways, we’re excited to give you a little sneak peak into one of our latest designs. We didn’t want to give away too much so we blurred & hid a few things out. But we will say the design, like most of our designs, requires a second look and is designed to make you think. It’s simple but packs a big punch. And most importantly it carries a powerful message that we’d like to share with the world.

This design is meant to promote and encourage the respect and preservation and quality of life. Life is too short, let’s make it count. Let’s reach our own ultimate states and liberate others along the way too.

What is One Way North? What does it really mean? Why the acronym OWN? These are some of the questions we get a lot. People wonder if there’s some sort of secret or maybe religious meaning to it.

Overall, One Way North is a journey, a concept that leads to a destination or a higher state of being. We’ve written about the concept in some of our previous posts but we haven’t really explained the final part or the ultimate phase of what we call One Way North (we’ll do that later).

As the saying goes, “a picture is worth a thousand words.”

So we’re gonna go ahead and skip the talk and get straight to the task at hand. I would like to present to you the concept and ultimate meaning of one way north through an image.

This design, aka Ultimate, will be made into a t-shirt and hoodie with a limited number of color variations. Release date will be revealed soon. Anyways happy holidays and may the next year be a year filled with success as you strive for the highest state of being, whatever that may be.

We’d like to introduce you to a gentleman by the name of Sheldon Scott who truly understands the deeper meaning behind one way north. First check out his latest video below called Believe and then read his explanation right after.

Everyone can dream and everyone can achieve those dreams. Of course hard work and dedication is needed, but you must also believe and always remember. Even when it gets tough, try not to focus on the bad energy. The bad energy makes you weak, and takes away your inner strength. Instead focus on what you have done and what you need to do. The bigger the prize the bigger the sacrifice. It all starts with you and how much you are willing to do to reach your goals.

Traveling, exercising, eating right, avoiding the things that might hinder your journey are all part of the path you must take to reach your goals. No one owes you anything, but through your hard work, dedication and constancy they will come to respect and understand you as a person. Positive energy is contagious, don’t be a burden, rather, try to concentrate on eliminating the weight that negative energy and doubt cast on your shoulders and rise to the occasion.

This can only be achieved through trial and error, dedication to your craft, meditation, and learing from your mistakes. Everything you learn must be absorbed, do not ignore the path, for these lessons make you more efficient and ready you for what you are about to achieve!
